Frequently asked questions

How does delivery scheduling work?+

Orders placed before noon are usually eligible for same-day delivery in central zones. Orders placed later, or in outlying postcodes, are scheduled for the next available delivery window, which you'll see at checkout before you confirm.

What happens if an item is out of stock?+

Because we buy in small batches from local growers, occasional shortages happen. If something in your order sells out before packing, we'll substitute it with the closest equivalent or remove it and adjust your total — never both without asking first.

Do you offer refunds or replacements?+

If anything arrives damaged, spoiled, or not as described, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. Full detail is in our terms and conditions.

What are the returnable crates?+

Orders are delivered in a reusable plastic crate instead of cardboard boxes. Leave your empty crate out and our driver will collect it on your next delivery, or on request.

Which areas do you currently deliver to?+

We currently cover the greater metro area, split into delivery zones with different same-day cut-off times. Enter your postcode at checkout to see the delivery windows available where you live.

How do you choose which growers to work with?+

We prioritise small farms and producers within reasonable distance of the city, visit most of them in person before listing their produce, and agree a fixed price with each grower ahead of the season rather than negotiating week to week.

Is this a working demo store?+
